 About Miss Burnell I was born and raised here in Maine, and actually went to school here at H.B.E.! I continued my education at Saint Joseph's College in Standish! In 2006 I graduated as Valedictorian with a BS in Elementary Education. That summer I was employed by SAD #6 and I have been a fifth grade teacher for the past 4 years:) Currently, I am going back to school to earn my Master's degree in Education! I am really excited about being able to finish that adventure in the near future! When I am not teaching, you can usually find me doing something outside, like kayaking or softball! I also enjoy spending most of my free time with my Golden Retriever, Molly, who seems to enjoy the outdoors as much as me. Reading and scrapbooking are two of my favorite indoor pastimes, but I think my real love is movies! I have a huge collection, and love to quote and ask trivia questions about them! I truly enjoy being able to be a part of your child's life and hope that each and everyday they enjoy coming to school!
